About StudioSync
Empowering music instructors with tools that make studio management effortless
Our Mission
StudioSync was built with a simple mission: to give music instructors and studio owners back their time so they can focus on what they love most—teaching music.
We believe that managing a music studio shouldn't require juggling spreadsheets, multiple apps, and endless paperwork. That's why we created an all-in-one platform that handles scheduling, billing, student management, and communication in one beautiful, intuitive interface.
Our Values
Instructor First
Every feature we build starts with the question: "Does this make an instructor's life easier?"
Simplicity
Powerful doesn't have to mean complicated. We believe in intuitive design that just works.
Community
We're building more than software—we're building a community of passionate music educators.
Our Story
StudioSync was born out of necessity, not venture capital. As a music instructor running a growing studio, I found myself drowning in spreadsheets, juggling multiple apps, and spending more time on administrative work than actually teaching.
The existing solutions? Either overly complex enterprise software designed for large institutions, or prohibitively expensive platforms costing $3,000+ per year. For an independent instructor or small studio, these options simply weren't viable.
So I did what any developer would do: I built my own solution. What started as a simple scheduling tool evolved into a comprehensive platform that handles everything from student management to billing, all while remaining affordable and easy to use.
Today, StudioSync is open source and available to music instructors everywhere. Because every instructor deserves access to professional tools without breaking the bank—and because the best software is built by the people who actually use it.
Open Source
StudioSync is proudly open source. We believe in transparency, community collaboration, and giving instructors the freedom to customize and self-host their own solution. The code is available on GitHub, and contributions are always welcome.
